Subject: V3.1 Modeler Tutorial problems...

I have had my Toaster for quite a while, but haven't played with Lightwave.
I am working my way thru the tutorials and am having problems with the 'Bevel'
and the 'Bell' (cutting the hearts). I seem to be able to read between the lines
& translate to V3.1, but i am missing something. Please don't take anything for
granted as i might be doing something really silly. The 'bevel' one goes wild on the
ends, and the 'bell' seems to have missing sections around the hearts.
